Contract Information
We are currently in the middle of bargaining our second contract. We are trying to secure stipend increases, fee reductions or freezes, better health care, and other benefits that are essential to having a good work place. GAU’s first contract is posted below in .pdf form, available for download. The contract was ratified unanimously by the membership of GA United during a special election in December 2007. The Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Board of Trustees also ratified the contract at their January 2008 meeting. The contract was signed into existence on January 19, 2008.
